Grant Lead

Permanent employee, Full or part-time · Barcelona, Madrid

Our mission

At Electrogenos, our mission is to build and scale breakthrough technology into real-world impact. We move fast, operate with high ownership, and focus on turning strategy into execution—by partnering with the right people, raising the resources to grow, and building the foundations needed for long-term success.

About The Role
We are looking for a Grant Lead to own the full grant lifecycle and drive our entire grant process end to end. This person will be responsible for identifying relevant grant opportunities, engaging with partners, building and coordinating consortia, leading grant writing, submission, delivery and management.

The Grant Lead will not work in isolation. Grant writing and delivery will be supported by our technical and operations teams. Writing responsibilities will be split by expertise, with the Grant Lead responsible for harmonising inputs, shaping the overall narrative, and writing their own sections, while coordinating contributions from internal and external stakeholders.

This role is about ownership, coordination, and momentum in a fast-moving startup environment.

What you will do:
• Source and prioritise relevant grant programmes and funding calls globally
• Identify, engage, and coordinate partners and consortia
• Own the grant application process from kickoff to submission
• Coordinate and harmonise inputs from technical, commercial, and operational teams
• Write key proposal sections and ensure consistency and quality across the full application
• Manage awarded grants, including reporting, milestones, and communication with funders

What we are looking for:
• Experience with grants, consortia, or funded R&D projects
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable owning processes and driving them forward independently
• Clear communicator with strong organisational skills
• Startup mindset and ability to move fast with imperfect information
About us

Electrogenos is building technology to make green hydrogen competitive at scale. We focus on reducing the cost and complexity of hydrogen production so it can replace fossil-based alternatives across real-world applications.

We’re an early-stage team working at the intersection of electrochemistry, manufacturing, and deployment. Our approach is practical by design: use scalable materials and processes, and validate performance through close collaboration with partners.

If you want to work on hard problems with real climate impact—and help take breakthrough technology from concept to deployment—join us.
